What is an angiogram

Nov 10, 2022

Hello. Angiography is an interventional test where a developer is injected into a blood vessel, and because X-rays can't penetrate the developer, angiography takes advantage of that. A vascular malformation diagnosed by X-ray images of a developer is an abnormal expansion and communication of capillaries, veins, and arteries or lymphatic vessels with the tissue structure and biological characteristics of normal endothelial cells. There was no abnormal proliferation of vascular endothelial cells, surrounded by normal network connective tissue and smooth muscle tissue. The vast majority (89.3%) were found immediately after birth, and then grew slowly with age, never subsiding. Most hemangiomas occur at birth (about 1/3) or shortly after birth (within 1 month).
