Numbness will remain in the area for several hours after treatment and you should not eat, drink or operate in the area until you regain consciousness. Do not schedule any major events on the day of treatment or for two weeks after treatment to prevent any bruising or swelling from subsiding.

After the anesthetic wears off, there may be some temporary pain and discomfort, especially if you have lift surgery and a feeling of tightness.
