Venous catheter

Certo is a peripheral venous catheter. It is a disposable device that is used to create intravascular and tissue access to collect blood samples, monitor blood pressure, or manage fluid and blood in blood vessels. Certo is also suitable for subcutaneous fluid therapy and 300 PSI power injector applications (18-24G).

The device can be used for all patients who are prescribed infusion therapy. There are no gender or age-related restrictions and can be used for adults, pediatrics and newborns.

Double flashback technique-confirm that the needle and catheter capillary are in the blood vessel. The first flash of the needle confirms that the needle is in the vein, and the second flash of the catheter confirms that the catheter is in the vein.

Universal backcut bevel-allows a variety of insertion angle options, designed to minimize puncture trauma.

Radiopaque fringes-the capillaries of the catheter can be seen well under X-rays.

Power Injectable-The rated pressure for contrast agent application is 300 PSI (18-24G).

Venous catheter materials are available in PUR and FEP-PUR can provide softer and more comfortable indwelling performance, FEP can be used as an alternative, stronger material, for example for arterial access. 2
