At present, one-point method is more adopted, and the puncture point is in the L2～3 spinous process space.
Epidural anesthesia: puncture can be performed in the gaps of the neck, chest, lumbar, and sacrum.
Difference: The key to epidural puncture is not to puncture the dura mater, while the combined spinal-epidural block (one-point method) requires subarachnoid puncture after successful epidural puncture.
