Procedure of hypodermic needle operation

1. Prepare items (liquid medicine, disposable syringe, cotton swabs, grinding wheel, iodine, alcohol);

2, check the name of the drug, pay attention to whether there is deterioration, whether the glass ampoule is broken;

3. The liquid ampoule or bottle cap should be opened after disinfection;

4. Discharge the air in the syringe after inhaling the liquid;

5, choose the injection site: usually upper arm lateral subcutaneous, lateral femoral;

6, injection site to 2% iodine tincture and 70% alcohol disinfection;

7. Hold the skin of the injection site by hand, insert the needle diagonally under the skin, draw back no blood, and then advance the liquid medicine;

8, pull out the needle, local with cotton ball or cotton swab pressure for a moment.
