A label should be attached to the outside of the container to indicate: patient name, gender, specimen name, hospital number, hospital bed number, etc. When sending a lot of specimens for inspection, be careful not to confuse the specimens.

3. In order to prevent autolysis or corruption of the tissue, the specimen should be fixed in time after collection. Use 10% formaldehyde (formalin) as the fixative solution, and the volume of the fixative solution should be more than 5 times the volume of the specimen to be tested.
