Precautions for needle sampling for disposable soft tissue biopsy
Dec 20, 2022
(1) The sampling site should be accurate, and necrotic tissue or obvious secondary infection area should be avoided. The sampling site should be taken at the junction of lesion and normal tissue. Lesion tissue and a few normal tissues around it should be taken, and the size should be 1.5cm×1.5cm×0.2cm generally.
(2) The sampling depth should be certain, requiring a vertical incision parallel to the depth of the lesion. Gastric mucosal biopsy should include mucosal muscle layer.
(3) Each layer of pipe wall should be taken with cavity mark; The specimen with coating should be taken as far as possible; Lymph nodes and other ancillary tissues should be taken for microscopic observation.
(4) When cutting or forceps the tissue, avoid squeezing and the use of tooth forceps, so as to avoid tissue deformation and affect the diagnosis.
(5) If the diameter of living tissue is less than 0.5cm, it must be wrapped with transparent paper or gauze to avoid loss.
(6) Bone containing tissue should first be decalcified after sampling.
