PDO Thread Mono is a single PDO filament. This PDO line is smooth and has no barbs, which is minimally invasive. Many times, PDO Thread Mono inserts mesh patterns into the skin for maximum tightening.
Once in the skin, the thread activates collagen synthesis, which gradually tightens and rejuvenates the skin. While PDO Thread Mono tightens the skin, they don't significantly elevate it.
These skin firming treatments can be used to rejuvenate collagen to treat sagging necks, forehead lines and facial wrinkles. PDO Thread Mono also increases cheek volume, with an average of 10 to 30 PDO threads typically used for each individual treatment area.
If you want a non-surgical wrinkle treatment that is both firming and lifting, you can use a single line in combination with an incisor line.
