Operation steps of renal puncture

Specific steps: After urination, the patient lies prone on the examination table, puts a pillow with a diameter of 10-15 cm and a length of 50-6 cm on the abdomen, pushes the kidneys to the back and fixes them, stretches the arms forward, and tilts the head to one side. Generally, the lower level of the right kidney is selected as the puncture point, with the puncture point as the center, disinfect the skin on the back, and spread sterile towels. Sterile B-ultrasound puncture probe imaging, local anesthesia with 1-2% lidocaine. A 10cm long intracardiac injection needle was pierced into the kidney capsule vertically from the puncture point, and a small amount of local anesthetic was injected. Pierce the puncture needle vertically into the kidney sac, observe the movement of the upper and lower levels of the kidney with respiration. When the lower pole of the kidney moves to the best position for puncture, the patient is deflated, and the puncture needle is immediately pierced into the kidney by 2-3 cm. Pull out the puncture needle and ask the patient to breathe normally. Check whether the kidney tissue is taken, and measure its length. After observing more than 5 glomeruli under a dissecting microscope, send a light microscope, electron microscope, and immunofluorescence. If there is no kidney tissue, repeat the above steps. Generally 2-3 times is appropriate.

Postoperative: Instruct the patient to lie supine for 24 hours, drink plenty of water, and closely observe changes in blood pressure, pulse and urine color. Those with gross hematuria should prolong the time in bed.
