Intrahepatic hyperechoic nodules, contrast-enhanced ultrasound results of FNH possible
Nov 24, 2022
Hello, you were initially diagnosed as FNH by the hepatic contrast-enhanced ultrasound needle, which means you may have hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia, a benign space occupying lesion of the liver, which may be related to the dislocation process, focal injury, and vascular insufficiency. Generally speaking, this kind of lesion rarely causes any symptoms, so most do not need deliberate treatment, do a good job of regular referral. We advocate that when the diameter of the lesion is more than 5cm, surgical resection can be considered to avoid it from inducing malignancy.
