The complicated part of aluminum cavity cnc processing lies in the control system. The computer sends various commands to control the three-axis servo motors of the machine according to the established route to cooperate with each other to process various complex processes, while ensuring high processing accuracy. . So what are the common CNC machining methods for aluminum cavities?

1. Flat hole series parts. Commonly used point and linear control aluminum cavity cnc processing for processing, when selecting the process route, the two principles of processing accuracy and processing efficiency are mainly considered.

2. Rotating parts. Commonly used aluminum cavity CNC processing or grinding machine processing.

(1) Consider processing efficiency. When processing on a lathe, the processing allowance is usually large, and the roughing route must be reasonably arranged to improve the processing efficiency. In actual programming, it is generally not advisable to use the cycle command (otherwise, there are too many empty tools at the work feed speed). The better method is to cut the material as soon as possible with a rough turning, and then finish turning.

(2) Consider the strength of the tool tip. In aluminum cavity CNC machining, low-strength tools are often used to machine small grooves.

3. Flat contour parts. Commonly used aluminum cavity cnc processing. It should be noted:

(1) Control of cutting-in and cutting-out direction. When cutting in radially, there are pits on the surface of the workpiece; cutting in and out horizontally, the surface of the workpiece is smooth.

(2) One-time approach method selection. The aluminum cavity cnc machining that only has linear and circular interpolation functions. When processing irregular curve contours, it is necessary to use tiny straight line or circular arc segments to approximate the processed contour (the error is called the first approximation error). When approaching, It is better to keep the workpiece error within the qualified range and the number of blocks is small.
