There is no way to get the result on the day of puncture, especially if immunohistochemistry is required, because biopsy, fixation, cytochemical staining and immunohistochemistry are required for the punctured specimens, all of which require time and energy.

Therefore, for cytological examination results, some hospitals can produce the results on the same day, while for histological and pathological diagnosis results, further fixed time, staining time or immunohistochemistry time are required for a relatively long process, at least more than 24 hours, and some genetic testing needs a longer time. So there's no way to get a definitive result on the day of the biopsy.
