Blunt Needle Facial Injections:

1. Opening: shallowly pierce the skin with a 25G needle to make an opening, and inject the entire face through this

2. A 25G/1.5-inch blunt needle is generally used for cheek injection;

3. The blunt needle is submerged under the dermis/on the periosteum;

4. The other hand that does not hold the syringe is used to stabilize the skin to help the blunt needle to sneak subcutaneously;

5. Subsequent operations are similar to needle injection (full-length cannula insertion, withdrawal and simultaneous injection);

6. The blunt needle may feel blocked when it sneaks under the skin, which is normal;

7. Inject filling from top to bottom and from deep to shallow until satisfactory results are achieved;

8. When necessary (rarely needed), a second acupuncture opening can be made;

9. Light massage.
