The experienced Manners laser cutting hypotube team can create part geometries that can replace traditional milled or wire EDM manufactured parts at a fraction of the cost, can machine formed and formed tubes, and manually loaded parts (manual or fully automatic) ), as well as angled cuts to create beveled edges and sharp teeth. We are ready to provide maximum service according to your project requirements:
1. Pipe diameter: 0.015” – 1.0”
2. Wall Thickness: 0.002” – 0.050”
3. Tube Length: Up to 12 feet (or tube in coil form)
4. Part Length: Up to about 6" (most medical components/shafts are less than about 20". Parts may be up to 45-60" long for some catheter types)
5. Laser spot size: ~0.0008” – 0.004” depending on tube diameter and wall thickness combination (up to ~0.004” spot size, special optical configuration)
