Teflon is divided into PTFE, FEP, PFA, ETFE several basic types:

Teflon PTFE: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) non-stick coating can be continuously used at 260 deG C, with a maximum use temperature of 290-300 DEG C, very low friction coefficient, good wear resistance and excellent chemical stability.

2 Teflon FEP: FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) non-stick coatings melt flow during baking to form a non-porous film, with excellent chemical stability, excellent non-stick properties, the highest use temperature of 200℃.

3. Teflon PFA: PFA (perfluoroalkyl) non-stick coatings and FEP melt flow during baking to form a porous film. The advantages of PFA are higher continuous service temperature of 260℃, stronger toughness, especially suitable for use in high temperature conditions of anti-stick and chemical resistance in the field of use.

Teflon ETFE: ETFE is a copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene. The resin is the toughest fluoropolymer, forming a highly durable coating with excellent chemical resistance and continuous operation at 150 ° C.

After teflon coating, it has the following characteristics:

1, non-viscosity: almost all substances are not bonded with teflon film. Very thin films also show good non-adhesion properties.

2, heat resistance: Teflon film has excellent heat resistance and low temperature resistance. Short time can withstand high temperature to 300℃, generally between 240℃~260℃ can be used continuously, has significant thermal stability, it can work at freezing temperature without embrittlement, does not melt at high temperature.

3, sliding: Teflon film has a low coefficient of friction. When the load slides, the friction coefficient changes, but the value is only between 0.05 and 0.15.

4, moisture resistance: teflon film surface does not stick to water and oil, production operation is not easy to stick to the solution, such as a small amount of dirt, simple wipe can be removed. Short downtime, save time and improve work efficiency.

5, wear resistance: under high load, with excellent wear resistance. Under a certain load, it has the dual advantages of wear resistance and non-adhesion.

6, corosion resistance: Teflon is almost not eroded by drugs, can protect parts from any kind of chemical corrosion.
