The pedicle screw system includes: pedicle screws (ø 4.5 -- ø 9.5mm; 30-120mm length), straight and bent cobalt-chrome and titanium alloy rods, straight and bent X connectors, locking caps, and required instrumentation implants. The screw head remains in position, eliminating the violin factor during surgery by allowing the rod to be easily inserted into the screw head. Indicators are marked on the screw head and locking cap to identify insertion positions to eliminate cross threads and ease the activation of the locking cap.
