Brass generally use alkaline detergent to wipe it will be more shiny, pay attention to not use some acidic detergent to wipe.
Brass cleaning methods refer to the following:
1, if brass objects are only contaminated with dust and oil, use warm water and neutral detergent to clean. Rub the brass object all over with a soft cloth dipped in the diluted detergent.
2, remove the surface varnish. Line the table with old newspaper, dip a brush in varnish remover and apply it to the top varnish of brass objects.
3, polishing. Lightly rub the varnish removed brass with a cloth coated with polish and dry it on a different cloth after a few minutes. By this time the brass should have recovered its luster.
4. Reapply the varnish to protect the brass and make it shine for a longer time. Wipe the brass with a soft dry cloth.
