Using ordinary hexagonal nut will be tighten fittings, then screw fastening nut tighten with the hand, make its contact with the bearing surface of ordinary nut (as shown), then using a wrench, tighten up to 60-90 degrees can loosen the fastening nut, to tighten the regular hexagonal nut with produce space between the fastening nut, to loosen the fastening nut, so as not to scratch bolt thread. Fastening nut is generally not used as the main force fastener, its role is to back on the nut to prevent the nut loose.
When the fastening nut is used, the flap is upward, so that the friction ring in the middle of the fastening nut is against the thread, so as to prevent loosening.
Fastening nut as a locking nut with mechanical anti loose, and generally combined with the spring gasket used in light institutions. It can be substituted for emergency situations. Considering convenience, safety, economy and other factors, it is generally not recommended to replace, master the above fastening nut installation
