The diagnosis and differential diagnosis of fever of unknown cause can be bone marrow culture, bone marrow smear to find parasites and so on. Bone marrow biopsy should be performed for multiple dry draws. Bone marrow aspiration is prohibited for hemophiliacs. Bone marrow aspiration should be done for women in the third trimester, and sternal aspiration should not be done for children and patients with different conditions.
