Precautions Should Be Taken After Oocyte Collection Needle

1. On the day of oocyte collection, ask your husband to prepare for sperm collection.

3. Under the detection of B-ultrasound, oocytes were collected by vaginal puncture with the oocyte collection needle without wound and bleeding.

Note: With laparoscopy there may be a little brownish bleeding on the same day and the next. This is normal, because the operation needs to inject carbon dioxide, to be fully absorbed by the gas, need 2-3 days, then the swelling pain disappeared. Please keep the wound clean. On the third day, remove the gauze without removing stitches and take a bath. Take medicine for wound pain as instructed in the medicine bag.

4. On the day of oocyte collection, if you have decreased blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, pallor, abnormal bleeding, difficulty urinating, or high fever, please consult your doctor immediately.

5. On the day of oocyte collection, lutein and HCG have been injected in the nursing room. Please contact your attending doctor for injection of lutein and HCG in the future.

6. Usually after the oocytes are collected, you can come back for embryo implantation every 3 days. Some can be cultured until the sixth day.

7. After the embryo is implanted, the doctor will tell you how to take the medicine, give you an injection, and when to come back for a blood test to see if you are pregnant.
