The tip grinding process, in particular, is paramount-a uniformly sharp bevel significantly reduces tissue resistance during puncture, making it easier for the physician to perceive the subtle breakthrough sensation upon penetrating the bile duct wall. Internal lumen polishing ensures smooth contrast injection without turbulence, yielding clear cholangiographic images. Additionally, laser-etched depth markings on the shaft and ergonomic anti-slip hub designs provide great convenience during prolonged, high-precision procedures. Therefore, when selecting a Chiba needle, healthcare institutions must consider not only pricing but also comprehensively evaluate material, craftsmanship, and alignment with their clinical needs.
