Manifestations And Symptoms Of Soft Tissue Injury.

Soft tissue injury: Soft tissue refers to the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscle, tendon, ligament, joint capsule, synovial capsule, nerve, blood vessel and so on. These tissues under the action of external forces, the function or structure of the abnormal, called soft tissue injury. There are acute injuries and chronic injuries. Acute injuries include sprain, contusion and strain. Chronic injury is called old injury or strain. The clinical manifestations are pain, dysfunction, muscle spasm, joint stiffness, joint capsule atrophy, muscle atrophy, neuromuscular adhesion, deformity and so on. Possible complications after soft tissue injury include persistent local fever and swelling caused by vasomotor dysfunction, muscular atrophy caused by nutritional disorders, joint instability caused by ligament relaxation, traumatic arthritis, periarticular ossification, and intra articular loose body.
