Is Lumbar Anaesthesia A Spinal Anaesthesia

Lumbar anesthesia, also known as "subarachnoid nerve block", is a commonly used spinal anesthesia in clinical practice. But it is not the same as intraspinal anesthesia, because intraspinal anesthesia includes a broad category, including epidural anesthesia, lumbar epidural anesthesia and other types of anesthesia. In the simplest sense of the word, spinal anesthesia is all the "back anesthetic" semi-anesthesia.
