The image below shows a sample of hypotube processed by Manners. For demonstration purposes, a StarCut Tube Hybrid with fiber laser and femtosecond laser was used. StarCut Tube SL equipped with only fiber lasers or femtosecond lasers can also solve this task while occupying a smaller footprint. The sample was cut from a stainless steel tube with an outer diameter of 0.7 mm. The wall thickness of the tube is 100 µm. At the left end, a so-called knife was cut off. Cut a small test slit in the spatula. In addition, two black rings are marked on the hypotube. These three steps are all performed with a Coherent Monaco femtosecond laser.
